Become A MIGATE Trainee

Traineeships are offered in a variety of areas, as can be seen from our Types of Traineeships page. At different times of the year, MIGATE offers traineeships in all the listed areas.

Traineeships are more flexible than apprenticeships as they can be adapted to suit an employer's business, in that a traineeship can be performed purely on the job or a combination of off and on the job.

To gain a traineeship with MIGATE you will need to satisfy the following:

• Be over the age of 15 years
• Be of any gender
• Be willing to commit to at least 12 months of training

How much is a trainee paid?

A trainee's wage varies depending on the following:

• The time the trainee will spend in training
• The year the trainee reached upon leaving school
• The time elapsed since leaving school
• The level of skill involved in the traineeship

All applicants are required to sit a battery of aptitude tests to assist us in determining your strengths and limitations. These tests also provide us with information on your abilities, other than your most recent school results.
