MIGATE Apprenticeships
An apprenticeship is a legally binding contract entered into by the apprentice and their employer. In the case of a GTO such as MIGATE, MIGATE is the apprentices’ legally indentured employer, with the apprentice being “Hosted” to a “Host Trainer” (business) which provides the on-the-job workplace environment and training; benefiting both the Host Trainer (business) and the apprentice. The term of most apprenticeships is 4 years.
The apprentice will receive complete and professional training both on and off the job.
Apprenticeships are now competency-based which allows the apprentices that are excelling in their trade to progress to the next level of their training and possibly to complete quicker.
If you are keen to gain an apprenticeship, complete the online Registration Form or go to the Forms page and download the Registration Form in PDF format.
